Arriving by Water

Poets Cruise Water Taxi
Provides service between Victoria's Inner Harbour and Poet's Cove-Bedwell Harbour on South Pender.

Gulf Islands Water Taxi
Provides service from Lyall Harbour - Saturna Island and Ganges - Salt Spring Island and Port Washington on North Pender. Regular passengers include cyclists, golfers, hikers, sight-seers and kayakers. In addition, over 100 school children daily throughout the year. Charters are also available.

Car Stops

Car Stops are signs, placed at strategic places around the community that provide recognized places for people to wait if they require a lift. There is a double-sided sign which proclaims CAR STOP, and below is another sign which reads as follows:

Drivers don’t have to take the first in line;
You’re not obliged to accept a ride, that’s fine.
You accept a ride at your own risk,
But the ride is free, so consider it a gift.
